The Centre for CSI Council South Africa is a trusted, independent resource and proven advocate for South Africa’s social-sector. We work to keep non-profits, NGOs and industry informed and empowered.  We advocate for policies, disseminate information and enhance the professionalism of practitioners.  Our slogan is simply ‘people, partners, policy’.

We exist to advance and maintain national community inclusion in the mainstream economy.  Three household ‘pillar principles’ inform our work:  health, education and household income.  Keeping these three pillars always in sight, we strive for a more comprehensive and systematic form of community upliftment than is possible with the ad-hoc approach so common in corporate social responsibility projects.  We disseminate research and advocate for targeted, well-informed and appropriate programmes that have real impact.  Healthy, educated and working communities are our goal.
